Novembre 1932. L'ebreo Max Eisenstein e il tedesco Martin Schulse, soci in affari a San Francisco e amici fraterni, si separano. Martin torna in Germania con moglie e figli e tra i due comincia uno scambio di lettere su cui si stende ben presto l'ombra nera della storia: nel 1933 Hitler prende il potere e Martin si lascia sedurre dall'ideologia nazista. Martin non cambia atteggiamento nemmeno quando Max, disperato, gli raccomanda di vegliare sulla sorella Griselle, un'attrice austriaca che è stata amante di Martin e che, nonostante gli avvertimenti ricevuti, ha voluto ugualmente recitare a Berlino. E proprio questo comportamento porterà a un simbolico rovesciamento dei ruoli e ad una raffinata vendetta.

    This was a disappointing experience. A few days after I paid, the seller reached out requesting that I send more money via Paypal because they miscalculated the cost of shipping. I politely declined, especially since ebay’s policies clearly state that you should not go outside the platform to send/receive money once a transaction is finalized. I respectfully advised that the seller take it as a learning experience and eat the cost and just raise their price for next time. They refused.

    Mi spiace per l'accaduto e ho spiegato le mie ragioni con l'acquirente che nel suo feedback ha semplificato ( a suo favore) i fatti. Non avevo considerato che (un'eventuale) la spedizione il Brasile costasse 30 euro. La richiesta di un'ulteriore denaro era solo per pagare la spedizione senza perdere sulla vendita. Pensavo che il pagamento di una vendita in paesi fuori dall'Europa avvenisse solo dopo una mia richiesta e con l'importo di spedizione stabilito dalle parti. Non potevo rimediare.
