As you take control of Aiden Pearce, his phone is his tool of choice for hacking. Hack the city's infrastructure and you will be able to do everything from manipulating traffic lights to stopping trains. You can also hack security cameras during the game. By disabling the cameras, you can use stealth-like abilities to move around the city without being seen. The system that enables you to hack Aiden’s world is called ctOS. This ctOS system also allows players to bring up useful information about the residents of the city of Chicago. This information can help you and Aiden stop crimes in progress and gain clues about your current "Watch Dogs" mission. How you use these game mechanics for your benefit is entirely up to you. In addition to having your phone available for hacking, "Watch Dogs" on the PlayStation 4 gives you 30 weapons to use. Everything from batons for melee combat to an SR-25 sniper rifle will help keep you alive in this PlayStation title. When navigating throughout the city in "Watch Dogs," you can scale rooftops or get behind the wheel of one of 65 vehicle types. The multiplayer component in "Watch Dogs" is unique in many ways. For one, you can access it while playing the single-player campaign. Simply bring up the in-game multiplayer menus and select a mode. These modes include everything from racing and tailing games to hacking games that allow you to play against others. Watch Dogs PS4 Game
My Son has all three games, I have Watch Dogs 2 & Watch Dogs Legion...both was great so I had to get the first Watch Dogs to complete the sets. The graphics may be not a great as the other two, but it has a good story & it's still a great game to add to my collection...I brought it previous own in like new condition at a nice price.

Watch Dogs is a game in which you hack your way to supremacy; but, in doing so, you will have to rinse & repeat, rinse & repeat - hack this camera to hack that camera to hack that other camera to hack that console to open that door to get to that audio log (btw that audio log is only 1 of 100). The side quest missions are so bland and moldy that, after you've done just 3 of the same mission, you'll want to go Bleach your esophagus; because, at least then, you'll be able to tell someone something interesting about your day. The game handles decently, the animation is fluid and responds nicely in the heat of the moment... as long as you aren't driving. The driving controls are as sluggish as a snake on ice, and the variety of vehicular missions/tasks only exacerbates the irritation created ... Watch Dogs is a game in which you hack your way to supremacy; but, in doing so, you will have to rinse & repeat, rinse & repeat - hack this camera to hack that camera to hack that other camera to hack that console to open that door to get to that audio log (btw that audio log is only 1 of 100). The equipment in game is useful, that is, if you can access the menu, select the item required, close the menu, and activate said item before you're either discovered by police or say.. brutally murdered? Skills, in classic Ubisoft fashion, are tiered from uselessness to usefulness to batshit endgame obliteration. Except, oh right, to access ANY high level skills, you must open up your SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN to the entire Watchdogs universe's worth of players, risking being invaded, hacked, or otherwise trolled into submission. The online multiplayer is literally just another Ubisoft vomit party of randomly killing people, OR hacking into another player's game and hacking this camera to hack that camera to hack that other camera to hack that console to open that door to get to that audio log (btw that audio log is only 2 of 100). I haggled the purchase of this free-to-ship game from $12 to $10, and I quickly understand why it was such a low price to begin with. LITERALLY the only thing i truly enjoyed about Watchdogs: Spidertank. If Ubisoft made a full length game with the mechanized mayhem of the Spidertank minigame, I'd happily lay down a respectable $40-$60 to play it. Otherwise, I can only hope Watchdogs 2 has a bit more in-depth uniqueness/multiplayer than its predecessor. 2 out of 5

I bought this item because I was starting my PS4 library. Since the PS4 had just launched and is in its first year of launch, it has very little. There wasn't much thought into this buy other than it's another game. Gameplay was alright, there isn't much to it other than: Point. Hack. Shoot. Drive. Repeat. The missions aren't much other than: Go here. Do this / Kill this person. Not much variety. Character design is lame as Ubisoft can't even model a boob. The facial animations are flat and stiff 80% of the time. Story? What story? This was probably the most boring story of revenge ever. By the time I was halfway through the game, I totally forgot what it was I was doing.. OH. WAIT. I can't forget because the protagonist would repeat the same ... I enjoyed Jordy / T-Bone and Clara more than him because they at least knew who they were instead of bouncing back between "I'm a good person, I don't kill people." to "I must kill people because they deserve to be punished. I am the vigilante." Overall, if you're wanting a mediocre experience that you'll probably make fun of with your girlfriend / boyfriend / friends, go for it. It's not THAT bad, but then again it's not very good. Nice try Ubisoft, but learn how to model a boob for once. 5/10.
