    Basically, the story of a young Irish girl,in the 1950s,who comes to England seeking employment, and ends up pregnant by a coloured man. Faced with the prejudices of the day, a single unmarried mother, she struggles to survive and support her young child,who will grow up to become one of the most instantly recognised faces of the 70s and early 80s, until his untimely death at the age of 36. This is not a biography, but the story of a son,written by his mother,heartfelt, emotional,it can't fail to touch the reader,especially those who were born in the same era,or close proximaty. Any true Thin Lizzy fan should at some stage read this book to see a side of Phil Lynott that was not seen through the eyes of the media.
