If it doesn't communicate with the obd2 scanner then can always modify it with leds.

Although it is a Plug it has been wired like a Socket so when connected to the vehicle Pin 1 ends up on Pin 4 and Pin 17 lands on Pin 12 !! I cut the cable in half with the hope that I could at least just poke the wires in the right place on the Socket but that didn't help as the OBD II end was also wired incorrectly... So, in my opinion DON'T buy this Item as you'll end up wasting half day of your life like I just did!!

The seller accepted my return and told Ebay they had sent a return label. Instead of sending a return label they kept delaying the return process possibly to try to get away with it. They then ignored any further communication and requests for a shipping label. I had to escalate this to Ebay customer service. This seller should not be operating on eBay.
