A nice synthetic shaving brush, very soft at the tips, with reasonable backbone. The size and shape of the handle feels good in hand and the weight is perfect. Overall a product of quality in terms of material and workmanship.

To begin unlike Badger brushes this brush doze not smell like an old dog. The brush is stiff enough to make a good lather but also soft to the face, In the past I've tried cheaper brushes none have anywhere near as good as this brush, so my advice would be save yourself some money and bye this brush in the first place

I’ve just used this brush for the first time and am hugely impressed with what Simpson have produced here. I’ve used a double edged razor daily for twenty years or so now and consequently own a few brushes made of the usual boar and badger hair. This new Trafalgar 2 (T2) synthetic bristle is shockingly good and runs my top of the range Simpson’s Manchurian surprisingly close at less than 1/10 of the price. If you like a soft but scrubby brush with plenty of backbone then this one is for you. Modern British ingenuity at its best “it’s the T2” to quote Johnny English.

The T2 is slightly smaller than expected. And I might advise going for the T3 which isn't much more. But the quality is apparent and its a very good brush. 👌
