The Royle Family Series 1
This DVD is a fantastic example of British comedy. Well worth buying a copy! It follows the very common Royle family who never leave their house and beleive they are always rushed off their feet. Jim Royle, the head of the house never leaves his arm chair, commanding his family to do everything for him. Barbara the mother is left to do all domestic duties whilst the youngest boy Anthony (early 20s?) is always ordered to 'get the door'. The series shows all the local neighbours call round, family parties and the all important arrival of the grandson 'baby David' (Denise and Dave's son).This DVD is a fantastic example of British comedy. one of the best series written for tv and to think it was all writen bye denise and dave who would have thought it. Brilliant and look forward to more in the future
