I think it's worth it. Enjoyable.
Need to learn Japanese to get the most out of this. You can play still play it otherwise. The memory function allows you to go over interactions and attempt different responses so you could work out how to get through the game with good results without learning Japanese but much of the game revolves around interactions that you wont understand without learning Japanese. I have always wanted to learn other languages and this game has given me the motivation to learn Japanese. Only a week or so into that so it's too early to tell how hard it will be? I said above that it is not good value as it was quite expensive but there does seem to be quite a lot to the interactions in the game, not that I understand them yet.
