I fit it to my f30 320d 2012 without combox, so I still have to use a Bluetooth transmitter when using it with android auto but not just BT audio on the screen. I also have cic idrive and there's a black cable on the connector that says disconnect for cic if you hear distortion, however I kept it connected as It was better. Overall very happy and would highly recommend

Make sure you move the fibre optic cable out of the original harness and fit it to the new one (little green wires in a black tube). Great product and good customer service
