Synopsis
The brand with the crown is recognized worldwide as an invaluable sports implement and luxury product. In little more than one hundred years, it has become one of the most successful and innovative watch brands on the planet. From the beginning, the sponsorship of statesmen, movie stars, and athletes has driven its success, but the company has expanded to include more than just the rich and famous. Rolex manufactures more than a half a million wristwatches per year while maintaining an outstanding reputation and near-perfect quality. The Rolex Oyster became the first watch to defy the elements when, in 1927, Mercedes Gleitze wore one while she swam the English Channel. In 1933, the company patented the first automatic winding mechanism. Browse images and historical and technical details of the most reliable Rolex models, including the Submariner, Cosmograph, and Yachtmaster, which divers, auto-racers, and boat captains trust for their precision and durability. Includes updated reports written about new Rolex ideas and performance tests featured in the German watch magazine Armbanduhren (Wristwatch) from the past 15 years. Features more than 185 color photographs. Plus a price guide! - 7***r (586)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseNice book at a good price. Only issue I had with this Seller is the fact they use a "third party" shipping company called OSM Worldwide, that is very poor at their job. This third party caused a delay of 3 to 4 days at least in my receiving the book I purchased. I have contacted the Seller and made them aware of this issue. Should you decide to do business with this Seller just be aware that your book may take longer than usual to arrive.
- c***n (67)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis book was the completely wrong item (BUYERS BEWARE - STOCK IMAGE IS *NOT* THE EDITION YOU WILL RECEIVE!), seller communication was awful (didn't answer any questions, barely legible English), shipping was extremely late (sent false tracking number then actually shipped it 2+ weeks post-order date), and it was poorly packaged (book corners bent up since shipped in a plastic bag with no padding or support whatsoever). Awful experience with this seller in every imaginable way.
- 7***5 (218)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseItem is just as described, although it’s pictured larger than actual size; which is the size of a deck of flash cards. Also disappointed that the item was mailed to wrong address or customer mix up & no one responded to my email or apologized or explained why item was sent somewhere else. I don’t know if this is a reflection of seller or seller’s employees? I had a project to use it on & just moved forward. Thank you seller.
