This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. It arrived late, due to Royal Mail's Festive rush, but was dispatched by the seller really quickly. When I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied really quickly with a helpful solution. HIts and a few misses!
I bought this as a light-hearted purchase, as I often find 'soundalike' compilations like this quite amusing. There are a lot of tracks on this album, and for the most part, they're quite faithful renditions of the classic sci-fi themes. The opening track, Star Wars is a little slow and feels 'off' in a weird kind of way, and as with every non-official attempt at the Doctor Who theme, the one on this CD is also a little strange. Interesting to note that the orchestra tried to emulate the 'Colin Baker years' version of the theme. Points for that. Space: 1999 is very good, as is The X Files and Battlestar Galactica. "Also Spracht Zarathustra" from 2001: A Space Odyssey, is a little weak though. In all, not the worst album I've heard, but not as good as something like the SFX movie theme disc ... Classic movie tunes
Needed theme tunes for Sci-Fi related quiz night. This CD will be ideal as all tunes are recognisable. 16 great film tunes from Bladerunner to Starwars

The theme tunes are not accurate enough to the originals. The sound quality is very good but the tunes are too long.
