What I love about this dvd is that it teaches you about the pass and what went on. This has a big affect on every African American. My may reason of buying this dvd is I wanted my daughter to watch, learn, and understand what went on back in those days and to learn why we must not use that word nigger. We were watching All of us and she heard lil Bobby used it and she asked the same questions why we can't use that word. I did the same thing they did let her watch Roots. I bought Roots weeks ago. It's an excellent tool to teach histroy.It's a powerful drama.I enjoyed the whole set. It's a must watch for all history buffs.I would recommened it to teens to watch and elders alike.The leaning from roots can last a life time. I loved every second of roots.
