About this product

Product Information

When the full moon shines, a paralysing fear descends on the isolated Maine town of Tarker Mills. No one knows who will be attacked next, but snarls that sound like human words can be heard and all around are the footprints of a monster whose hunger cannot be sated.

  • A great read.

Some people don't read Stephen King, not because they don't like him or his work, but because his books are just so long. So his short stories and novellas are usually their preferred reading. This is a good one, originally intended as a calender but was expanded because of King's self-confessed habit of over-writing, but it is still a nice and snappy story with great illustrations by Berni Wrightson.

  • highly recommend this to a stephen king fan

I very much enjoyed reading this book but it's not as good as I thought it would be. Saying that though I did have trouble putting it down so it must've had me fairly gripped! I liked the monthly "chapters" and thought that quite unusual and very unique. I've been trying to get hold of this for ages and finally found it.
