Hello, I purchased this item as a gift for somebody who only recently opened the package. It was disappointing to find quite a large defect on the underside of the bookset’s hardcover, which seems to have been dropped on a pointed object and by doing so, ripped and caved in the case at the site of impact. The first three volumes of the book have been affected by this and is sadly irreversible. Please see the pictures attached for a better understanding. I am aware that this was the last set that you had left and don’t intend to return it as it is still readable. However, I do feel entitled to some sort of compensation for having received a defected item. Thank you.
