great film! good value for money
I enjoyed this and thought it was a good nod to the thriller genre with plenty of suspense building throughout. I must admit i thought this would be a supernatural thriller from the artwork and was shocked to find out that it was not the stereotypical haunted house on the hill type of film. Having said this i think that the whole theme of the house and its former occupants seems to prey on its new owners in a chilling way and this leaves you wondering what secrets the house holds and how they will be revealed. The cast put in convincing performances as a family who have left the city and find themselves out of their depth as the targets of red necks which results with a final harrowing twist. If i had any criticism i would say that there are some scenes which don't allow the movie to flow ... cold directing
I love a good thriller,but this was a so so film with imprints from so many other films that it was highly predictable. Even the the scenes that are supposed to have your heart racing and pillows hiding your eyes from the terror within the screen, made me giggle a little at the surrealism of the event. Easy to watch though and good performance from steve zahn.A film that teenagers might like to watch with mum and dad.I love a good thriller,but this was a so so film with imprints from so many other films that it was highly predictable. Creepy and not a bad plot
I liked this thriller, it had a creepy story line, some times it got a bit slow. I enjoyed it though.

Quiet gripping
This is a good old fashioned thriller type movie. At first you feel that the house is the issue and then you realise its something more real. A good shout at the tv movie, that makes you say - why let him him?? Well worth getting for a night in!!
