    Wonderful balance

    The 20" K Ride is an excellent general purpose ride cymbal for jazz and funk performance and recording. The ping is very clean with a lower pitch than many ride cymbals. The wash is complex and broad without being trashy. The 20" cymbal delivers a responsive crash with a fairly quick response and fade (not gong like). The modern K's are machine made in the US and are quite conisistent. I played on 3 before my purchases and was surprised that the difference between the 3 K's on hand was far more consistent than I remember they were years ago. Yes technology has made them better.

    Zildjian, since 1623 what can you say.

    The cymbal is pristine, balanced, warm, but articulate in response. Cuts beautifully, and and crashes amazingly. I love my K ride.
