Product Information

The third title in SNK's Metal Slug series, Metal Slug X for the PlayStation is a port of the 1999 coin-op game, which itself was an enhanced version of Metal Slug 2. Choose from four characters, two male and two female, as you move from left to right trying to destroy everything in your path. Along the way, you can rescue hostages to earn points and acquire new weapon power-ups.<br><br>Weapons include pistols, machine guns, lasers, and grenades. Also available to players are four "slugs," vehicles that can be stolen and used against the enemy, including tanks, jets, robotic-suits, and even camels. Locations range from Egyptian pyramids to underground bases as you advance through the game's five stages. Swarms of enemies will attack you at once, and each level features a boss character that can take up half the screen in size. Two players can progress through the game simultaneously, just as in the arcade.

I've never left bad feedback in 17 years on Ebay. They sold be a PS1 game that didn't work, wouldn't even load the menu (no problem it happens). They tried to blame the post office and gave me a line of BS about filing a claim on my behalf. Then they blocked me. Had to get ebay involved for a refund. Ridiculous, unprofessional and for what? $30 dollars? Oh yeah, and shipping took forever, like 10 days. I ordered 8 games from other sellers and this one arrived dead last by a week

    Great Adventure Game for Mature Audiences

    This is a well-done adventure game for mature audiences. In the game you use guns, rocket launches, and other violent weapons to save the world in different levels. The game is challenging, but it is not too hard to beat if you practice. If you play with two players the game can be even easier to beat if you are both good. The graphics are pretty good considering the time it came out.

    SNK Arcade classic

    Metal Slug is 2 player shoot em up fun! a pure arcade style game, shoot everything in sight. great character design and animation, the PS1 port has load time and missing some animation frames but that doesnt stop it from being fun!
