The Canon camera body comes equipped with an APS-C CMOS sensor that provides overall noise reduction and allows for a sharper and more detailed photograph. The camera also has a DIGIC5 image processor that allows a person the ability to take photos at a speedier pace overall. This processor is also ideal for taking multiple shots at sporting events and other situation where subjects are in motion. The Canon camera body has a 3-inch LCD touchscreen mounted to the back and features a traditional viewfinder as desired. The Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D 18.0 MP digital SLR camera has a full range of ISO settings that can be ideally adjusted based on the lighting situation at the time of the shot. The Canon camera body also has the option to capture video in high definition up to 1080p that can be played back on a compatible media device. This item is the camera body only.

    Great Starter Camera

    I bought this as a first "serious" camera and have been using it weekly since purchasing. The only problem I had was that the battery that it came with was terrible, so I've had to buy a couple from a third party. It's been going much better since doing that, I can actually use the LCD screen to take photos and take advantage of the camera's autofocus instead of doing everything manually. This camera still holds up somewhat well in 2021, but you can't expect any fantastic results. Crispness of photos will depend on your skill level (I have a lot to learn here!). It's well worth your time watching at least a few videos on how to get the most out of the camera before you start using it. Photos I took in my first week were absolutely terrible, but I'm slowly improving. I wouldn't recommend ...

    Unless you are a pro, this is all the camera you will ever need.

    Its tactile and very easy to use. I'm a semi-serious amateur and have stopped using the larger bodied and more expensive DSLRs in favour of this series. Beginners....there are plenty of helpful tutorials on YouTube to get you going straight away. A great camera and terrific value for money.

    Bought this as a cheap camera for converting to an astro camera, particularly useful given the articulated screen…. And pretty simple to convert to astro…. Excellent for what I needed at a good price as this model is now getting older.

    Good camera for entry level or more experienced photographer. Easy to use, nice size, sits comfortably in the hand. The touchscreen also has a hinge making shots from angles easy. Good auto focus on the video shots is much better than previous models. Nice and fast at taking shots too. Love it
