    Another great product from Vornado

    Winter is coming and I wanted to get something to replace my old ceramic heater. This looks identical to the IR400 just has a different color scheme. The high temp setting can be a bit loud (for night time), but on low it's perfect. Keeps my room nice and cozy. I also think the element inside looks cool at night. There is a slight orange color on the inside of the unit. I own the VMH600 & TVH600 and this works quite well. It may feel a bit to much like plastic compared to those models but nonetheless well built.

    Small Package, Big Performance

    We use these fans in our Maintenance Dept. for work-site ventilation in a nasty shop environment. The power and portability make them ideal for awkward or limited-space situations. The concentrated stream of high velocity air is not so good for larger area air movement, but that's exactly why they work great for our application. Another huge attraction is that they are made in the U.S.A!!!

    Perfect large airflow for cooling while on bike trainer!

    This fan has a nice small footprint, and provides excellent airflow. I purchased based on a review of fans suitable for cooling while using an indoor bike trainer. It does an excellent job preventing sweat dripping off my body, keeping me cool and avoiding sweat damage to the bike. I use medium speed, and as expected it has modest volume, but not too bad. Vornado has a great 5 year warranty, is American made, and it is very sturdy and portable, with good adjustability for directing the airflow. Follow the directions for placing the washers properly between the frame and fan body to be sure the twist knobs lock the fan in place so it doesn't slip out of your preferred position. Once set, you can fine tune the position without need to unscrew the twist knobs. I definitely would ...

    Outstanding Fan!

    Awesome American built fan. Looking for reliability and superb construction? This is it! Moves directed air exactly where you want it. Has three speeds - low, medium and high. On the low setting it moves a comfortable amount of air quietly. If you're looking for a mini hurricane, set it on high and be prepared to be blown away! This machine is a workhorse - will last many years. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

    Nice fan

    This is a small floor fan that moves a lot of air. I use it in a one bedroom apartment. Although listed as a shop fan, it is a well designed fan that looks good in the living room. It is very quiet on low and moderate on medium and noticeable in high, but I normally use at night for white noise and medium during the day in hot weather. It is more expensive than many floor fans, but it is worth it to me. It is very well designed, balanced, functional, and nice looking.
