9-year-old Felicia (Jenna Boyd) wants only one thing for Christmas--a new mommy. When she writes a letter to Santa making her request, the word gets out to the local media, and TV reporter Mary Maloney (Cynthia Gibb) is sent to cover the story by spending Christmas with Felicia and her widowed father (John Schneider). During the course of the holiday, these three people are brought even closer together by the arrival of a mysterious stranger (Tom Bosley) who demonstrates the true magic of Christmas.

    It's a Wonderful Life with John

    What a great little sleeper movie. If you are a fan of John Schneider, you will totally enjoy this film. Even if you don't know him or his work, it's a wonderful film for your family. A young girl writes a letter to Santa and just like in Mary Poppins, the right nanny appears (Tom Bosley). A lonely TV reporter (Mary) writes to an imaginary Santa too, but you don't know what her wish is till the end. John is the Dad in the movie and actually used his own gorgeous house for movie. His wife and two children are in it too. The best part of the DVD was the behind the scenes with John who is the Director named Jonathan Richards. Richard is John Schneider's middle name! The film takes place in Agoura Hills, CA, actually during July, but it's a Christmas movie, and the crew had to make all the ...

    Mary Christmas Dvd

    This was a really great family movie. I really enjoyed it and it kept my interest all the way to the end. All of the actors and actresses did a fantastic job. I first saw this movie on Hallmark and had to buy a copy of my own. Very good story line, very happy ending. You have to watch this movie. I highly recommend it. It's a movie the whole family can enjoy over and over. It's about a little girl that wants a mommie for Christmas, and a wife for her daddy. Very touching and surprising ending. It just shows that miracles still happen.

    Excellent Christmas Movie

    I saw this movie on TV and loved it. I’m so glad its available on DVD. I’m partial to Christmas/Holiday movies that include reunions and/or surprise endings. In this movie two Christmas wishes are fulfilled after a series of events that include Santa being hired as a governor to a child whose mother died when she was two and who’s father is a workaholic. Add in a reporter who needs a good story to advance her career. It all comes together in an unexpected ending.

    Mary Christmas

    When I first saw this movie, I was impressed with the story line. I very much like the actors, they do very well together. It is a heartwarming and sentimental Christmas story. I love this movie and decided I had to have it when I saw it for sale on ebay.

    Mary Christmas

    I'm a John Schneider fan have been since I was 8, and I bought this movie because he was in it. I collect The Dukes O f Hazzard things and John Schneider stuff. The movie was in excellent condition and plays great.
