    Well Pleased with this - Lightweight and great features

    We were really surprised at the speed in which this was delivered and also all the functions. Real lightweight and looks good too. Just need more hot weather now so we can begin to use it again. Great value for money will recommend to everyone we know. Our Labrador likes it too - he lays just by it and never has done this with any of the others that we have had.

    Works well enough but a little noisy.

    Seems to work quite well, but the instructions are rather vague. One problem, though is that it is rather unstable and easily pushed over by children; this causes all the water to spill out over the carpet. It is a little bit noisy in operation even when on minimum.

    Air Cooler

    NOTE, this is not an air conditioning unit. What it is is a fan that draws air in through a cold water soaked curtain. You use ice blocks in a water chamber that cools the water, use ice cubes to speed it up. Keep a supply of freeze blocks so you can replenish as needed. Initially there is no change in the air temp coming out but give it a few minutes and the air coming out drops by quite a bit. Initially air was at a temp of 23.2 C coming out, after 5 minutes it had dropped to 16.2 C quite a refreshing breeze. It also through design provides humidity to a dry atmosphere. Quite a few settings with ionisation setting. It is a little noisy compared to a normal fan but it does move and cool the air. Well pleased with it and would recommend it.     Effective Air Cooler

    It's fairly light for me to carry and although it's not completely silent, it is quiet enough that I can sleep with it. My Wife does complain that it's a bit loud for her, but she would rather have the cool air. It's not as effective as an aircon obviously but it's much better than a plain fan and definitely much better than having nothing at all. The tub is held in place by a very flimsy looking clip but as long as you don't move it around with lots of water in it, this isn't a real issue. You can also remove the water container by unclipping the motor. This was a relief as I was worried about mould and legionnaires. All in all, I am happy with it (especially at the bargain price)
