    easy to use, great sound quality, ideal for a small set-up, great value for money

    Yamaha MG-10 analogue mixer, affordable, fairly solid and well made, I like the screw-on mains connection. I also like Yamaha products in general, a dependable manufacturer. I am using the mixer for a live rehearsal set-up, plugging in a drum machine (using two channels for left-right stereo panning), two guitars and two microphones. There are seven channels available, mixing is straightforward and easy. I have the main outputs connected to two active speakers, and the MG-10 acts as a competent pre-amp for these. I also have the monitor outputs connected to a recorder so I can make a recording of the songs, very clear and great quality sound. Only downside is the 'aux send' socket for reverb unit etc, which has no return socket, and if you use a line channel for the return it just produces ...

    A really great desk

    I've had the old Yamaha MG10/12 desk for over 10 years but sadly it died. I decided to try the newer version, and I have not been disappointed! My only gripe os that they have taken away the photo outputs from the old model and replaced it with jacks. No biggy, I just ordered some more jack cables. Great desk though!

    Yamaha mg10 studio mixer

    Great 10 channel mixer for not a lot of money. Very versatile and well made. If you don't need a big mixer it's perfect. And if space is at a limit then its perfect as it will fit in anywhere. Overall a very well worth purchase.
