Everyone knows the story of Jurassic Park by now, so buying this version is more for aesthetics than content, Because there are cheaper copies of the book. That said, the binding looks gorgeous, slick and smooth, but it is pricy

Book binding and paint falling apart
The binding of this book is falling apart and the paint is rubbing off. I will attach a few pictures. Is there anyway I wish I could get a different copy and send this one back. It’s a shame because it’s a good book.

Dosnt look new to me.
The listing of this product says "new", but when it arrived it had bent corners and the spine was cracked and separating from the pages. It's a shame because the book has beautiful art.

Oddly, this is the only current compilation of both Crichton books. It sure looks good in pictures, but upon getting it? The pages have metallic paint on the outside like an old Bible...prepare to have glitter fingers. They shed! As well, the dye on the "leather" cover wears off like it's icing. Finally, I found glue blobs all over the place. I read the first few pages and discovered the problem. It's printed in C---a.
