I'd been keeping my eye out for this rose for a while, and the spot was ready, so delighted to impulse buy! It is very late in the season: the plant arrived dormant, dehydrated and very sad. There were no signs of life for 3 weeks, one of the two main stems has died and the other to halfway down. However, with an immediate nutritive soak, potting up in good fertilised compost, a sunny position in perfect growing weather, and a lot of expert tlc - after five weeks, it's developed leafing shoots.

Unfortunately the rose showed no sign of life after 3 weeks. After digging it up, the roots confirmed it was dead. I was refunded.
