Look forward to, Fugitive from the grave which have already purchased from the you, And have a few more from this Author In my shopping trolley, Have also been reading books by Jim Eldridge, Murder at the Manchester Museum and Murder at the Ashmolean I have yet to read another equal favourite, 3 already read , both great authors Nearly finished the book , great story, great author, already saved other titles, Edward Marston book is one you wont want to put down. This is an entertaining Victorian mystery and adventure. The characters are well drawn and the pace is quick from the start. Especially fun for the railway enthusiast and lover of steam trains. Historically accurate, suspenseful and interesting read. A good start to the series. Looking forward to reading the rest. Recommended.

Transport of Delight
This book introduces us to DI Colbeck. It is the first of a collection of 4 railway novels by Edward Marston. A delightful introduction to "gentler times" and the beginnings of the dective arm of the Metrolpolitan Police. It faifhully recreates the change from horse drawn to steam transport and draws you into that era. You should be transported back to Victoria times in a flash. He cleverly weaves a tale of murder, revenge & romance. It is a real page turner and leaves one wanting more. I wish there were more in the series.This book introduces us to DI Colbeck.
