    Some superb performances captured on camera, but...

    ...it's a shame about the quality of the sound and picture for the main bulk of the footage. I understand that it was filmed way before DVD quality came about, and maybe I've been spoiled over the years. I just wished the picture had been a bit clearer and the overall editing had been better. The sound was pretty grim too on some of the tracks - the crowd being louder than the band! This isn't to say that I didn't enjoy the DVD, far from it. It is, after all, ELP and the energy and musicianship shines through regardless of the quality of the DVD. I couldn't help but get swept away with the performances and the music and thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth the money for sure, but don't expect crystal clear sound and sharp pictures. Just appreciate the professionalism and dynamics of ELP.
