The mailbox came a week earlier than promised, which meant that we did not have to have mail delivered to the former mailbox after it was damaged by a bad driver. The unit was a perfect fit for the mounting holes in the support brackets and we are pleased with it. Also, the vendor provided it at one of the best prices that I have seen. The only thing I would change is the material - aluminum instead of galvanized steel, but the unit has a very good quality paint job, which will ward off rust for a long time.

Who wouldn't want and all aluminum powder coated rust & rot free mailbox. Easily installed, I used stainless steel screws to attach it. Ironically the old one was a Gibraltar as well. Obviously not made of aluminum. The door operates well and the box seems solid. We'll see how it goes - it looks sharp!
