The cables look like 8 pin to 8 pin connectors to me not 8 pin to 6+2 pin. They seem to be good quality. PCI-E connectors are standardised. But the connection to the psu is not.. If you buy third party cables you need to get a multimeter and map the pinout socket on the psu you want to use for the pci-e connector. Then you need to check that the 8 pin plug that is supposed to be attached to the psu socket is wired right for the psu. That way you won't fry either the gpu and/or the psu.
