The Boss DM-2 was introduced into the Boss stomp-box lineup in 1981. The DM-2 utilised the BBD (Bucket Brigade) delay line, which Boss has already used on their first pedal; the CE-1. Known for it's warm tone, it was the perfect choice for their short-lived, yet now infamous delay pedal which had an impressive delay range of 20-300ms.
