Not hard to believe this series is close to five decades old... Whilst I have no wish to remind myself of how ancient I am in having watched it on tv first time around so still laughed through it... Despite the many and inevitable dated references I nonetheless found it entertaining!

A pleasant comedy
A lighthearted & pleasant although somewhat dated tv series. Sid James is, as always, excellent & he is well supported by Diana Coupland & the other members of the cast. The storylines are somewhat shallow but nevertheless mildly entertaining. The whole series is fairly typical of the type of tv comedy we all enjoyed back in the 60’s/70’s era.
