This is not a rail you could use for fine macro focus, though it is useful for getting the camera to within focussing distance. It’s all a little bit shaky, so you’ll definitely need a remote control. Acceptable bit of kit for the price but will need replacing with something more accurate, much more sturdy but considerably more expensive. All that said, I can’t fault the service from the seller, though.
