I does oscillate well, and.....
It has a retro look. It cannot be described as quiet, IMHO, but it isn't all that loud, either. Definitely it is not bronze. Brushed nickel is about as close as I can get. That's not a deal breaker. My model did not have a knob to tighten the tilt mechanism. Bummer. You have one tilt option from straight ahead. It's about 15 degrees up. My knock on this fan is it does not move much air even on Hi speed. I do not love it, but I do not hate it enough to return it. My rating is "meh".It has a retro look.
