This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. It arrived late, due to Royal Mail's Festive rush, but was dispatched by the seller really quickly. When I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied really quickly with a helpful solution. Such good customer service, so strongly recommend. Really happy with my purchase.

    One of my favourite 90's albums.

    I wish the river city people had made more albums as this cd proves just what a talent they were. Walking on ice is one of the best songs ever, carry the blame wonderful, the cover of california dreaming does not let the original down. Whats wrong with dreaming, great. My absolute fave has to be no doubt. And you are probably wondering why I bought it again, well, a gift for christmas for my niece so she could share the brilliance of it.

    River City People: Say something Good CD

    I first heard this River City People CD back in the early 1990s & really liked the relaxed, 'West Coast" sound the band produced for this, their first album. The lead singer, Siobhan Maher has a great voice in my opinion, & the majority of songs on the album are well written & allow her voice to really shine.

    Saying something good!/!!

    A prime slab of AOR, sweet female vocals, hints of Fleetwood Mac (mid period) and Texas combine to produce an album that trundles along at an agreeable pace! All good/ reasonable songs including a spirited version of "California dreaming" (originally by The Mamas and Papas) Nothing ground breaking, but a great album none the less. I would recomend, much underated and looked over...
