I love the look f the Delonghi Icona range. I have kettle, toaster, espresso machine and it all matches. As I have the colour scheme of my kitchen, I have bought a new set. So I have had it in red, black and then beige. But I have found that I have to renew the kettle after a while because chipping of paint and the seal around the bottom starts to leak. In light of these problems, I try very hard to purchase at the lowest price that I can find. I still give the range 4 stars though because the design.

I bought this kettle at a discounted price so I'm relatively happy with it. However, I would not pay full price for it. It is stylish and I love the colour, but only time will tell if it will in fact stand the test of time. A little noisy and slower than my previous kettle to boil, it's main flaw is the difficulty in seeing the water gage.
