    Great unit with intuitive features for it's age.

    Works well, exactly as described. My grandparents wanted to view home movies and old recordings, and both of the VCRs in the house had sat unused for so long they died immediately. Went ahead and ordered a $12 RCA to USB adapter and digitized all their VHS tapes to a thumb-drive with this and it went very smoothly.

    its value is good now, but the long-term value is in HOW LONG it lasts, which I can't now predict

    remote does not match the vcr, and doesn't have an eject button, but it connects for most vcr functions, image is fuzzy compared to my last vcr, but tolerable over time recommendation depends on what you want; it doesn't do everything that I'd like, but enough
