Bo Diddley-Tales from the Funk dimention CD2004.
During the early Seventies Bo Diddley attempted to update his sound to copy the then "Funk" and Soul music that was always on the airwaves. He made four Albums including "Another Dimension","Big bad Bo",and this period proved to be his swansong with the Chess label who he had recorded for the last 12 years. This is an interesting compilation,but adds nothing to Bo's music and sometimes it's very hard to realize it's him on certain tracks.Therefore,the CD is only really of interest to Bo "Completists"(Of which there an many!)or those who just want a small dose of Bo during this period.During the early Seventies Bo Diddley attempted to update his sound to copy the then "Funk" and Soul music that was always on the airwaves.
