This tube sports a different plate design than found in most 12AX7's. The compact plate structure does nothing to dampen their sound or dynamic response. They are well balanced. They do provide high gain without the usual noise and microphonic problems you would expect.

As a tech it is so much better to have them tested and marked for equal gain. Tube buying can be a pain but getting like this makes my job a bit easier

Simple tube replacement did what 120 bucks of bs 'repair shops' couldn't do.
