    Dimplex Bay port BYP20 stove

    I was disappointed with this product because the flame affect was mostly when I had expected it to be more of a red colour. The imitation logs at the front of the fire didn't light up at all. There was quite a lot of smoke around the imitation flames and this made the door steam up. The instructions said to open the door and let the steam out but when we did this there was quite an unpleasant smell. The reservoir had to be filled with filtered water but this only lasted about 4 hours and then had to be refilled. We did not use the fan heater. I spoke to the suppliers and it soundedicated as though they had had thever complaints before. Perhaps we were just one of the unlucky few but they collected the stove the following day and have now refunded the payment.

    Perfect electric stove

    I spent a long time choosing the right fire that wasn't too bulky or fake looking and suited my budget and I'm really pleased with this one. It looks very cosy and realistic when on and I would definitely recommend. Easy to use and refill the water tank. Remote control is an added bonus for both heat and smoke control.

    Dimplex Bayport electric log effect fire

    Made this purchase as an alternative to a log burner mainly due to expense. Pleased with item, though instructions forgetting up are not clear though it is reasonably straight forward. But fire effect is very good and option for variations of flames including adding water for smoke effect is very realistic ( it recommends filtered water ). Heat source is good and not noisy. Overall, very good. Delivery by AO, who were first class, as I have always found.

    Log fire with steam
