    A time to laugh at the follows things in life

    It’s an unusual series but very entertaining, as it was when it aired. Keeps one laughing at the odd behavior of the many characters. I enjoyed it when it was on TV and still do now. If you do not like anything some would call political incorrect then this series is not for you, if you can laugh at politically incorrect antics then you’ll enjoy the fun of the two families. In life you have to take time to laugh, the antics of the characters do this for me, as I said if you think certain actions are too politically incorrect then the film is not for you, otherwise it fits the rest of us nicely. Fun, enjoyable and makes you laugh.

    Finally...found it!!

    I had always thought that Soap was one of the greatest t.v. shows of the late 70s and early 80s, because is was SO progressive. But it started out in '77, and I was only seven years old. Needless to say that my parents wouldn't let me watch it. So I snuck and caught a few episodes here and there, and I loved it. The characters were so off the chain, and so many of the issues that they had relate so much to today's issues. Flash forward to two weeks ago, when I was just skimming EBay, and I happened to run across this...and for a very reasonable price! I immediately bought it, and have been in Soap-era binge ever since! I really have enjoyed these dvds, and the most important aspect that I had considered when buying it was there, which was watching the episodes and seasons in order. ...

    Hilarious

    I loved SOAP when it was on regular tv. I love all the characters. Chuck and Bob are hilarious. They also have real family issues and some episodes are sad but that is life. If you've never seen this it is a must see!!!

    This show was quirky before 'quirky was cool!

    I forgot how funny and weird this show is and watching it again brought back how much I enjoyed watching it as a kid. Anyone who likes quirky comedies will also appreciate this series and it not so raunchy that you would be embarrassed to let your kids watch it too!
