The rubber cover doesn't fit very tight and in a downpour, I'm not yet sure on weatherproofing. However, it's rare I ride in the rain so for me, it will be fine. Length, is just about enough, I could have done with another 10cm really. The major plus point is the on/off switch. This means there can be no residual pull on the battery and was my main reason for choosing this item. (Provided you don't forget to switch it off of course).

Easy to install as well, no soldering required! Even has a volt meter. You get a lot for the money!
