    I just bought a Martini-Henry rifle, famous for fighting in the Zulu Wars, so I wanted to see the movie versions of the battles. Great actors, characters, well made, good action.

    zulu dawn

    This is the one that very rarely is shown on t.v. better cast and acting than the other one called Zulu. That is aired commonly depicting the 2nd battle. This movies historical accuracy is well looked after. It has a bad out come for the British, but history should be remembered.

    CLEARLY THE BRITISH MILITARY MISS JUDGED THE RESOLVE OF THE ZULU PEOPLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND WATCHING THE MOVIE "ZULU" AND THE MINI SERIES "SHAKA ZULU".

    Great British Military History

    If you’re a student of historical Colonial British military actions in Africa, this is a great video. It is a follow-up to the movie “Zulu”. “Zulu” deals with the battle at Roarkes Drift. “Zulu Dawn” is the following battle where the British suffered one of their most shocking military defeats. Fascinating story, based on actual events.
