Remade for the PSP 10 years after its first wildly popular installment, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together continues the story of the Ogre Battle series. Assume the role of Denim Pavel, a Walstanian resistance fighter seeking to bond the three warring ethnicities of the Valerian Isles. Travel across the game's world map to visit villages and castles seeking to recruit allies for your cause. Combat happens on grids, with the winners earning skill points, experience points, and tarot cards. Tarot cards magically let gamers carry their present enhanced skills back in the game's timeline to alter events. In this way they can save team members who die in battle. The plot is not static, and certain decisions open up new story branches. This PSP version of Tactics Ogre includes numerous subplots not included in the original game. Other PSP modifications include new characters, additional dialogue, a group leveling system, and an enhanced visual experience with 3D battlefields and the capability to zoom in and out.

    Fun Tactics Experience

    I have been a fan of the Tactics RPG genre for quite some time now and having that all start with Final Fantasy Tactics on the Playstation, it only made sense to go back and experience Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. The story is a bit darker than many others within the genre, but within that there is a very human element that pulls you forward. The leveling system can be a bit odd at first but still interesting. I found myself getting excited each time I picked up a new job class or monster. Overall, I look forward to finishing this one soon.

    Great Addition to the PSP

    Product arrived complete and in good shape. The game itself has a boatload of replayability due to branching story arcs and job system. I haven't finished the main story yet but there is a lot of compelling dialogue and philosophy throughout.

    I really liked this game when it came out on the playstation. This game is different but it has the same dynamics as the original. Great game if you are a fan of the Ogre series.
