    The seller agreed to deliver, despite the item being listed as "collection only". I paid £500 as agreed. Once I had paid, the seller asked me for my personal details, including the pin number from eBay, my full name, postal address and postcode. When I challenged the seller, he said he wanted the pin number from eBay, to inform eBay the item had been delivered BEFORE HE HAD EVEN POSTED IT. When I refused, he cancelled the order and refunded me. Obviously a scam!

    In order to try and help the buyer I agreed to post for free and also sell at a discounted price . I asked the buyer for his name and address in order to post the item , PIN number for ebay to release payment of goods at £500 value Not sure how else I would have been able to send without this information EBay customer service advised me to cancel and refund which I did within 1 hour of the sale . Been an eBay member for 22 years , 783 transactions , 100% positive until today
