The album features the music of Bill Charlap and his band, and is considered a masterpiece of modern jazz. The album is a misprint that has Gangstar’s "Moment of Truth" on the CD cover instead of the Bill Chaplin cover it is supposed to have. There is a small crack on that same front cover of the case.

Bill Charlap heir to Bill Evans and other great trio players
Bill Charlap is a great piano player and this CD is worth it for his version of Gerry Mulligan's Curtains alone. It makes great background music, but it is no Muzak effort. If you listen closely you will hear Charlap's intricate technique far beyond lounge player. Sonics are also very good. If you have a good quality stereo, the sound will be rewarding.
