Awesome picture quality.
I originally bought this as a replacement to my D200 and for use as a spare body. A quick check on 'my shutter count' gave an activation usage of under a thousand operations. I keep auto ISO on at 3200 maximum and find the images nice and clean, the 12mp sensor being enough for my needs. Images are definitely improved with the colors boosted to 'vivid' and the saturation increased slightly. I was so impressed with the picture quality I now carry as my 'every day' walk about camera and thoroughly enjoy using it.
