In this post-apocalyptic thriller a lethal viral pandemic has swept across the world; there is no cure and the onset's not pretty. Against this epic backdrop of global catastrophe the film follows the intimate story of a group of survivors; Brian (Chris Pine, STAR TREK), his brother Danny (Lou Taylor Pucci, THUMBSUCKER), Brian's girlfriend Bobby (Piper Perabo, COYOTE UGLY) and Danny's friend Kate (Emily VanCamp, BROTHERS AND SISTERS), who are fleeing to an old childhood hideaway called Turtle Beach, hoping to seek refuge until the pandemic dies out. Along the way the group encounter other people running from and in the throes of the virus, putting all their morals into question. As their journey becomes increasingly fraught they realise the real danger they face comes not from the disease... but from each other. Alex and David Pastor's CARRIERS is a tense, unnerving thrill ride that will plague your thoughts for days after its exposure.
