The life of Brian is probably the best Monty python movie. So no need to rate the movie. This release is high def, ( first time watching on blue ray). It has a couple different commentaries. The Life of Brian takes you to the time of Jesus and explores the possibilities of how religions were created, nurtured and debated. Though not directly about Jesus, and all about Brian, there are many thinly veiled satiric references to Christianity and other religions throughout the film.
