    A recipe book of only healthy and natural Juices. Also gives a thorough explanation of what is; pure & without any additives in each ingredient. Explains what food is good for energy, protein, heart health, what food/juice is beneficial for fatigue, pain, high blood pressure. and many many more - all for different categories. After just 5 days of trying juices, my hubby & I were convinced. This book is not just another slimming book, it teaches many things and some of what I learned is quite repetitive. Similar to Allen Carrs Easy Way to Give Up Smoking. A sort of hyno-therapeutic method of changing our ways of thinking. Nevertheless, we both lost weight, became fitter and healthier. An added bonus, is we both felt younger just because we stopped eating red meat, exercised a little ...

    You forgot to mention the stomach cramps!

    I think, as in many of these kinds of books, too many assumptions are made about existing knowledge. There was no mention or warning of the extreme stomach cramps, constipation and diarrhoea (yep, both simultaneously) I got after my first juice and now I'm seriously put off trying any more. Having now read much more balanced research elsewhere I realise that this book could be quite dangerous in not presenting a balanced approach to consuming juice.

    Juicing

    I was at my sister's home when her husband was making juices, and he introduced me to the Jason Vale programme. The book gives a very comprehensive explanation of recipes, advice, how to balance juices, how to get the best of all juicing fruits and vegetables. I am so happy and I thoroughly enjoy the different tastes and flavours. I have now ordered a further three book
