    Excellent Item

    This complete series was at a great value and it is extremely entertaining if you love movies of this type. I am a big fan of Spartacus the series, so when I saw the complete series at such a good value, I bought it and am very pleased with my purchase and am enjoying watching it over and over.

    Great cast and great story.

    I am a very big fan of this series. I love the story line and the different parts to the story. Too bad about Andy Whitfield. I wish he'd stayed on in the leading role. The rest of the cast was stellar. The women were very hot , especially Lucy Lawless and Erin Cummings.

    Exciting and engaging!

    This series was the beginning of Starz foray into excellence. The very first season showed incredible creativity and very in-depth character development. Andy Whitfield is incredible as the heroic Spartacus. Sadly, just as the season concluded, Andy was fell ill to lymphoma and eventually passed away. The producers, while hoping for his recovery decided to make Season 2 a prequel which gave the audience a true backstory prior to the capture and enslavement of the hero. They found a very adequate replacement for the third and fourth seasons, and with the continuity of the majority of the cast, it worked well. The writing, direction, set and costume design supplement the acting talents of an incredible cast. This series has something for both the men and the women in the audience, but ...

    Pretty tastefully done

    Totally enjoyed the series and also ended pretty well. Glad they didn't do a 4th season as it would have diminished the series. The only real drawback is the all still had teeth and the multiple scars seemed to be missing.
