This 1868 compendium of ingenious mechanisms employs simple drawings to explain 507 of the small components that constitute complex machinery. Left-hand pages feature illustrations, and facing pages offer brief descriptions of their use and operation. Ranging from simple to complex, the mechanisms include cranks, pulleys, drills, wheels, and screws.

    The lot was as described and arrived without shipping damage. That said, be aware the books were shipped in a larger box with no packing so they were sliding around the whole journey. Most were lower grade before shipping so no harm done. I'll say again that the lot was completely as described and I did get what I paid for.
