Hedge trimmer
Lithium battery lasts 35mins to 1hr depending on type of hedge and thickness of the cut .Important get handle adjustment right for the height of the person using the cutter . Angle adjustment should be set right for height and sides , then the hedge cutter will be easier to use .You have a push in pin to change the extension poles bit of pain but I used Allen key to push in to twist off and it works. And keep hedge cutter blades oiled with paint brush. Runs very good on soft wood hedges ,more harder on hardwood hedges . The secret don't let your hedges get too long cut them first then cut grass and pick up trimmings easy. Very good product and not too expensive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Weight and poor balance spoils a quality machine.
This is a quality, well made item which I am sure will last a long time. A battery charge lasts long enough for all my hedges and if I did run out of power, the recharge time is fast. The downside is that it is very heavy at the cutter end and therefore feels unbalanced when using especially at maximum extension. You have to stand on the ground and it would be dangerous to attempt to use from a ladder. Not quite what I was hoping for but perhaps I'll get used to it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sharp with good battery
This telescopic hedge trimmer is well made and easy to assemble and disassemble. The blades are very sharp and cut through privets easily leaving a nice clean cut. The battery seems to give plenty of power for a long time. I’ve used it to cut through thick growth for half an hour and have only used a third of the batteries charge. It is fairly light but can seem heavy when using at full length this is the problem with all extending trimmers. However the extra handle provided does help with controlling the trimmer when fully extended. I’m very happy with my Vonhaus hedge trimmer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good value, does an excellent job
Purchased recently to replace a very well known lightweight cordless trimmer. This trimmer was easy to assemble and gives a superior cut to my old one. It is robust, but a little heavier and feels slightly unbalanced on first use, hence four stars. Once you become familiar with it these problems cease! Very good purchase
Was looking for a well priced and decent quality in a hedge trimmer. Had not heard of the brand but decided to make the purchase. Really pleased with the quality and versatility of the trimmer. With the lithium battery it seems to last a for a good period. Had used it for about 30 mins and still 2 bars out of 3 showing. Easy to use, great value and up to the job
Read some reviews which were positive and decided to take a chance as I hadn't come across this brand before. It charged quickly was easy to handle and set up. Light weight but robust. Cut a 3 metre high privot hedge with ease. Blades were more than powerful enough. Had bought the cordless to back up a mains electric hedge trimmer for the trickier to reach bits. Hedge cutting easy
Saw my next door neighbour's (a more expensive brand)and thought what a good idea being a 70year old needing hedges and bushes cutting without climbing and trailing ladders and extension leads all around the garden. i would say all in all a good product but buyers should be aware it is quite heavy.

Great but eavy when fully extended
This hedge trimmer is good quality and value for money. The only down side is the weight when it's fully extended. As a woman, I can do a lot of things in the garden and DIY but the weight makes it quite difficult when fully extended and trying to trim stuff that's high up over my head.
